The Forestry Development Center (FDC) welcomed it newest staff member Dr. Michael S. Sanchez, last June 9, 2022. Doc Mike, as he is fondly called, will be working under the Environmental Biodiversity Unit of the center as a University Researcher II.

Prior to joining the center, Doc Mike worked at the Office of the Vice-Chancellor for Community Affairs as a University Research Associate for several years. He is a graduate of BS Biology at Far Eastern University in Manila and a degree holder in both MS Zoology and a PhD in Environmental Science at UPLB. He also has an extensive background on wildlife biodiversity on top of publishing several studies on this topic. (RVCCabrera)
